THE GOLDEN GENERATION FOR AFRICA

A. Become A Simple Member of the African Community (SMAC) and be eligible for our non -interest loan package 

 

                            

 

 An African parent or a single African individual, wishing to support the program and also become elligible for our loan program can apply to become a Simple Member of the African Community, in short SMAC. The SMAC contribute $2.5 on average per month  depending on his/her country of origin (CLICK HERE to see the table). To be considered for the loan package, the SMAC must have reached at least $30 in contributions.  Contributions are not a guarantee for the loan but more a support to all. However, FAPI Africa?s objective is to reach 100% of the poor families and 8,33% of all adult individuals in Africa with loans by 2025. Families are eligible for a loan of $45,000 while individual receive $15,000. Families and individuals beneficiaries repay their loans with monthly installments of $150 and $50 respectively. The good news is that your long-term deposit from the loan cover much of the repayments.  Loans are distributed according to the order of arrival and the level of need. B. Become an External Member (EM)

 

FAPI members are known as External Members. Theyare individuals or  companies/ organizations supporting the program with monthly membership contributions. The African member, like the SMAC can apply for the loan.The External Member enjoys one vote at the General Assemblies. There are different types of External memberships depending on the choice of the of the contribution to be made on a monthly basis (Ordinary, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond) and the category one falls in (Individuals or Companies/Organizations):

C. Become an African Promoter Member (APM)

 

If you are an African citizen, member of FAPI Africa, or a Simple Member of the African Community, you can apply to become an African Promoter Member, in short APM. The APMs duty is to promote the program in order to get communities and donors supporting the program. The APM earns 20% on contributions made by members and 10% on the products sold and donations. Because contributions are made on monthly basis by members, so will also be the equivalent commissions to Promoters. The number of APMs per Associate and per country is limited. South Africa for example, with 1,954 Associates (Affiliates) has 14,063 Promoters in total or an average of 7 Promoters for 14 396 potential contributors per Associate. For More details, please go to Policies and Procedures

 

D. Become a FAPI Associate (ASS) -For Non Profit African Organizations only

 

FAPI Associates are non-profit organizations helping the organization carry certain tasks in the localities of african countries. They play an important role in the interaction between FAPI Africa and the communities.  They each deal with a certain number of members of the community and tasks, which are among others: the recruitment and training of promoters, the organization of monthly seminars, the training of beneficiaries of loans, the management of Promoters, etc. The number of Associates depends on the size of a country and the population in the country. South Africa for example has 1954 Associates and the Democratic Republic of Congo 3750. They receive finance for the basic salaries of a Manager (Accountant) and a Data capturer, and for part of their operating expenses. They also earn a small commission of 2% on the performance by their Promoters. For more information, please go to Policies And Procedures

 

E. Become an African Fundraising Company (AFC)

 

African companies can apply to do Fundraising. They earn 10% on payment by members, donations and products sales. They can not compete with the Promoters for the registration of Simple Members of the African Communities (SMAC). For more details, please go to Policies and Procedures.

 

F. Become an International Fundraiser Member (IFM)

 

 

                         

If you are a non-African citizen, a foreign company or a foreign non-profit organization, member of FAPI Africa, you can apply to become an International Fundraiser Member, in short IFM. The duty of the IFM is to get support for the program through External memberships, donations and the sales of products. IFMs earn a 10% commission on External memberships, donations, and products sales. Because memberships are paid on a monthly basis so will be the  equivalent commissions. G. Application and payment

 

Individuals

All Applications by individuals are made using FORM NO.1. African Promoters and Individuals International Fundraisers will also have to fill FORM NO.3 as second step, after receiving their membership number.

 

Companies and Organizations

Companies and organizations will apply using FORM NO.2

 

Payments

All applications are made accompanied by the first membership fee.  Membership fees are not refundable except in the situation in which the application is unsuccessful. Please, click here to go to donation and payment methods.
